Wang Wei 王威

Waterworld is the name of Wei's paintings series displaying dry land nature and objects immersed in water at various stages. In a allegorical style, Wei paints random creatures and machines in bright colourful compositions. The theme water immersion represents the problems of global warming. Such as in Chinese tradition, Wei is interested and concerned with the future prospects of natural world. His paintings are therefore a warning of what might happening in the future.
